Coalition and Policy Engagement Manager

Cody Price is the coalition and policy engagement manager at Texas Health Institute, where he coordinates statewide coalitions and multi-sector initiatives to advance health and collective policy action. Since joining THI in 2019, he has helped lead projects funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas, and the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health. Price has authored peer-reviewed publications, presented at national conferences, and managed initiatives ranging from genetics networks to community-driven oral health roadmaps. A graduate of Texas A&M University (MPH, ’20) and Mississippi State University (BS, Chemistry, ’18), he was named THI’s inaugural “Team Player of the Year” in 2023. His professional interests include coalition-building, policy engagement, and advancing systems change to improve health outcomes for all Texans.
