Chief Convening and Engagement Officer

Stephanie Ondrias serves as the inaugural chief convening and engagement officer at Texas Health Institute (THI). In this executive leadership role, she advances cross-sector collaboration, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement strategies that align with THI’s mission. She provides oversight of convenings, communications, and coalition-building efforts, including facilitating statewide initiatives such as the Texas Primary Care Consortium and the Texas Oral Health Coalition.

Previously, as chief convening and education officer and director of convenings and education, Ondrias led the strategy and execution of numerous large-scale internal, state, and national convenings focused on improving coordination and collaboration across the health sector.

She has been part of the THI team since 2010. Prior to joining the organization, she held sales, event, and pre-opening management roles with Marriott and Starwood hotel properties, building a strong foundation in operations, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale event execution.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology from Texas State University.
