Texas Health Policy Forum

December 2, 2026 | Austin, TX

At the Texas Health Policy Forum, Texas health leaders and state policymakers will come together to highlight the health policy priorities that will define the upcoming legislative session. Taking place just one month before the 90th Texas legislative session convenes, the forum is a unique opportunity for legislators and leaders from across public health, health care, academia, philanthropy, and community sectors to engage in candid, solution-oriented dialogue about the issues that matter most for the health of Texans.

Through a series of fireside chats and panel discussions, legislators will share the priorities they are bringing to the 90th session. Conversations will explore topics such as healthcare affordability, rural health sustainability, primary care, maternal health, oral health, and workforce challenges. The forum is designed to be an intimate and informal policy exchange where participants will hear directly from legislators, ask questions, make connections, and leave with a greater understanding of the current health policy landscape and what’s ahead.

The Texas Health Policy Forum is convened by Texas Health Institute (THI), the state’s independent, non-profit public health institute.
